This Summer one of the fashion pieces that I wanted to get was a white or off white blazer.
Tego lata jedną z rzeczy jakie były na mojej liście zakupów była biała lub po prostu jasna marynarka.
I have really good blazers already. When I think about it, the blazers I bought previously were not the cheapest, which makes it quite statement, and let me tell you getting something more expensive but better quality works as I love them all.
Marynarki jakie zgromadziłam przez lata są super. Lubię je, noszę i nie mam zamiaru oddawać dlatego, że nie oszczędzałam w momencie ich kupowania.
The blazers in my collection include black, linen brown, navy, pattern grey and check grey.
W skład mojej kolekcji wchodzą marynarki koloru czarnego, brązowego, granatowego i szarego.
The two that I wear the most are the black and linen from Mango, so this is where I went to look for the perfect white one first. They did have linen, pure white blazer, which I got (link here), however it went back as it didn't fit too well and I didn't like how see through it was.
Dwie po które sięgam najczęściej to czarna i brązowa z lnu, obie z Mango, więc tam też zaczęłam poszukiwania mojej idealnej letniej marynarki. Znalazłam lnianą, biała śliczną marynarkę (kliknij tutaj), aczkolwiek wróciła do sklepu, ponieważ nie najlepiej na mnie leżała i nie podobało mi się, że była prześwitująca.
This blazer I found in Zara. I got it full price, which was £59.99. However Zara has great blazers, therefore I went for it. It's 100 % polyester, lined and fits amazing. Again it was a bit see through and I wasn't too sure about it. While trying to decide if I want to keep it or return it, I checked Zara again and I found it reduced to half price as well as some others, so I decided to give this one a pass and went for two others.
Ta marynarka jest z Zary. Kupiłam w pełnej cenie za £59.99. Sugerując się tym, że Zara ma bardzo dobre marynarki i płaszcze kupiłam. Jest z poliestru na podszewce i leży świetnie, ale nie byłam jej pewna. Też lekko prześwitywała i w momencie podejmowania decyzji sprawdziłam Zarę jeszcze raz. Marynarka była przeceniona o połowę razem z innymi. Więc tę oddałam i kupiłam dwie inne.
Despite the fact that it went back it's still great blazer (link here or here). It's ecru more than white and as much as I loved it, I just wasn't sure, if this is the one for me. And to be honest when I am unsure of something this is an indicator to return, as I usually end up not wearing it.
Mimo, że ją oddałam, jest śliczna, w kolorze ecru, ale kiedy nie jestem w 100% przekonana to znak, że muszę oddać (kliknij tutaj lub tutaj).
This is the two I got reduced.
W zamian kupiłam te dwie.
My absolute winner though is this stone, linen look like blazer (link here). Despite the fact it's in 100% viscose it looks like linen and I love it. The off white colour makes it very versatile. It will go with all blue and white jeans without clashing. I can think of endless outfits I can put together with it, so it is definitely a keeper. Also choosing the perfect summer blazer I answered 7 questions "Before You Buy" as per stylist Tess Montgomery:
1. Do I absolutely love it?
2. Will I wear it for at least 3 years?
3. Do I already have something similar I would rather wear?
4. Can I match it in at least 3 outfits straight away?
5. Does it have good re-sell value?
6. Does it fit me?
7. Can I afford it?
And as you can imagine all answers except for 3 were yes!
Moim faworytem jest ta marynarka w kolorze stone (kliknij tutaj). Jest to wiskoza ale wygląda jak len. Kolor sprawia, że można ją łączyć z jeansami, niebieskimi czy białymi bez gryzienia. Potrafię połączyć ją z wieloma rzeczami z mojej szafy, więc z pewnością jest to mój numer jeden. Również podejmując decyzję odpowiedziałam na siedem pytań "Przed zakupem" według stylistki Tess Montgomery:
1. Czy ją uwielbiam?
2. Czy będę ją nosić przez co najmniej 3 lata?
3. Czy mam już coś podobnego w szafie co wolę nosić?
4. Czy mogę stworzyć 3 zestawy z tym co mam już w szafie?
5. Czy dam radę ją sprzedać?
6. Czy dobrze na mnie leży?
7. Czy mnie na nią stać?
Odpowiedź na wszystkie pytania oprócz czwartego brzmiała tak!
