My June Purchases

If you haven't seen my previous blog post you can read it here, but to quickly explain, I am about to make a little reflection of purchases I made in June.

I am huge fashion enthusiast and someone who make my life all about it - I treat myself to fashion and beauty pieces nearly every month and because I am trying to be better shopper I decided that in 2021 I will journal my choices. Hopefully this will come useful to you. It is definitely useful to me.

In June I got few random bits from usual places. Somehow H&M is winning me over and over this year so this month most of the pieces I got, is again from there.

H&M

I am not proud of it, but couple of my purchases comes in two, as I loved the style so much. The floral summery collection was such a success for H&M, I managed to get my fave dress (above) in the stationery shop in Bristol. I also got it in black (online this time) as this is the colour of the season.

Also from the floral collection I got the strapless top. I love the idea of wearing it over the strapless bikini  or by itself as it is such a comfortable and cute top. It will last me so many summers to come.

I promised myself not to buy any this year, but I couldn't resist strapless white bikini top. As we have such a good weather I had a chance to sunbathe and I find my current top very uncomfortable. I thought it will be handy to have one more specially, that I knew we will be going on holiday. H&M does swimsuits in the same style every year, so all I already have goes nicely with any new pieces I might get. Also while I was in Poland I got another fave bikini top in khaki colour.

Thinking of holidays, loads of sunshine and my pigmentation, I found the best face cover up to date. The bucket hats are so amazing for it. Their brims are wide enough to cover your face, but not too wide to cover most of your shoulders, like some of the summer hats can do. I also couldn't resist getting the type of hat in more winter appropriate fabrics like wool.

Another piece I fell in love with while browsing H&M was the chunky cardigan. I am such a sucker for this type of knit. I think it is such  good one for all year, but also in a summer time when not all knits are suitable.

ZARA

In Zara I manage to get myself the best shorts ever. I didn't think of myself as someone, who will like the cycling short trend, but they are proving so comfortable and at the same time go with so much and look so good.

Also just before going away I was in need of one more summer dress (similar here) and I went with this simple linen number. I can have it belted or not, both ways looks amazing. I also like the longer sleeves, which means I can wear it on the cooler evenings as well as during the hot days.

&Other Stories

This one was such a random purchase, but while browsing through the store, I tried on the leather baseball cap. I thought  it was such a cool addition to my accessories I just bought it. I love it, specially for colder weather with a blazer or a coat.

LEVI'S

Hopefully this was my last pair ever! I have so many 501's now I really don't need any more, but simple and sleek light blue pair was somehing on my radar for a while. I got it in Swindon Outlet discounted, which made it so much more worth it.

GANNI

Animal print will be big this A/W, no surprise there really, as the print comes back year after year. I wanted to add Ganni dress to my collection for a while now, so I thought it will be good idea to combine the two, specially that Ganni is quite famous with their animal print pieces. The dress I got second hand from Depop.

And that is all my Friends! Let me know if you found it useful? I did, so I will keep this journal if not for you, definitely for me.

See ya next time!
